Car is not running!!

Ok so i get into my car to grab some lunch and it starts up but then it sounds like its trying to die and its surging likes its wanting to die but coming back. so i turn it off and try a few more time and all i get is it trying to start then die. then i try it one more time starts right up no issues, so i decide to try to get it home while it is running ok. well, while on my way home it dies again. after a few more tries i get it goin and make it home, about 15 miles, and it dies at the house. I had the control module checked and it tested out bad so ii replaced it nothing same #%$, alternator good. now it wont start unless i hit the gas and thats still 50/50. any sugestions would be must appreciated. thanks :angry4:

but ckeck for codes first. do you have any mods? how old is the tune up pieces?

No mods was goin to do all that over the summer. I'm leaning towards the fuel pump. Tune up lil over a year ago.

ok guys I really need to get my car running. I changed the fuel pump, dizzy, control module, and coil. it is still doing the exact same thing. i try to start it and it will try to get going then die. if i hold the gas down i can get it running but as soon as i let off it sputters and surges then die. if i leave my foot on the gas it will eventually just shut off. sometimes it will act as if it is missing and sometime it will be completely fine. im at a complete loss.
