car running like crap...

put some headers on the car this weekend..... and got one of the o2 sensors replaced, it was late and coundt get the other one off. now my car runs like crap. think that this could be cause of one of the o2's being old? it ran fine before the headers were on and the o2 replaced, thanks for the info guys.

oh its a stock motor.

I really don't think it's the O2 sensors, what type of headers did you put in? ie l/t or shorties and was the egr if equipped reconnected give us more info....

I think you have to give the puter time to relearn the new flow. And the front and rear o2's are dif. Did you get the right one?

If its a 94-95 there are only 2 o2 sensors [94-98 is 4] cant see the headers causing any trouble, the standard pipes are'nt far off being shorty headers.
I assume you have coupled the egr pipe back up, and your plug leads are'nt to near the pipes, and they are all back on the right plugs?

unplug both o2s, drive it, if she runs better they are crap!

the headers are equal shorties. ill check to see if the o2's are crap.

Do you have a check engine light?

I don't think your problem is the O2 sensor...

Check you plugs, make sure all the wires are on all the way, make sure they didn't get munged up when you pulled the plugs... Make sure you didn't mung up any of the plugs... and make sure you put all the wires back on the correct plugs...

I think you made a mistake when putting the wires and plugs back in... its not hard to mess up with out realizing... and that would really make the car run like shit...
