I have a 1996 mustang gt with a 5 spd and 4.10 gears. i have been having a problem with my car. when i dump the clutch into first, the tires dont really spin, but the car is reving.it also does this into 2nd. i used to be able to spin them in first and into second but now i am lucky if i get 2nd. anyways i am wondering if this is my clutch needing to be replaced or something else? i have had the gears installed for about a year and a half now and i dont know if they could have affected this at all. thanks

Yeah I that's gotta be your clutch. Leave it in 3 or 4 and then floor it. If your clutch is getting real bad the revvvs will go way up but you won't pull and speed for a few second and that will def be your clutch.
