Once in a while my car doesn't want to start unless I give it gas and keep it revved. But once I let my foot off the gas, the car just dies and doesn't want to idle. Eventually my turd stopped doing this, but as soon as I got my tranny done it drove fine, but didn't want to idle. Then eventually I guess it sorted itself out and stopped doing that and so the idle has been fine now once the car is started.

The only problem is it doesn't want to start sometimes now. Already replaced alternator, solenoid, battery a lil before this even happened so those should be okay.

I was also thinking it might be my alarm system not fully disengaging my fuel cut-off when alarm is disarmed. Any ideas fellas?

Mods are in sig and have been installed WAY before this happened.

Check your IAC Valve. They get gunked up and fail on these cars. Its an easy fix. You can either swap out and get a new one for @$50 at autozone or clean out yours with some carb cleaner and see if that lasts.

Well I cleaned my IAC with throttle bodie cleaner (cause I wanted something teflon safe) and that SOB fired right up! Thanks bro she starts with authority now and zero idle problems :eek:ccasion14:

So since that was it you can set up a cleaning schedule like every other oil change or something so it doesn't happen again.
