Mythic Level
Hey all.
Went to wyoming this weekend to party it up... me and some friends wanted to race and my check engine light was on. .. . (mis fire on cylinder #3)
anyways, i unplug my battery to reset the computer (higher altitude [7,200 feet above sea level] and to get rid of the check engine light.)
i go to start the car again and the starter starts to turn over for litterally .5 a second... then NOTHING. at ALL.... not even a click.
anyways, we push start it and we go racing... when we get out in the boonies i turn the car off (not thinking aobut it) and then i go to start it and it starts up! :-[
anyways, if i let the car sit for more than 5 minutes i have to push start it. otherwise it starts fine.
I've replaced all 3 relays in my under-hood fuse box.
Whats the next step? next week link? do i replace the starter? the seliniod? check fuses? would a fuse do anything with the starter?
Thanks all,
Chris
