I currently have flowmaster catback but not sure what series, it was on my 95 and when I got the 96 we just bolted it up and I was actually wanting to get a new catback with 3in tips and flowmasters. any suggestions? what is new from flowmaster?

I'd get 10 series flows if I were you. Other than that, all flows sound the same to me, just louder/quiter.

can you send me a link to the 10 series?
i was on the flowmaster site and catback is a lot more expensive than i thought. there were some that were like 600+ dollars.

10 series sound great but I got a couple of muffler tickets from the local popo c**t. I went back to my 40 series Flowmasters.

With a catted x pipe the 10 series won't be as loud. The woman that gave me the ticket twice is just b****. Plain and simple. I always got thumbs up from cops and state troopers that heard my car with 10 series on. It just sucked having to drive way out of the way to avoid that town so we could go out to the lake and stuff.

It'll be loud. Just not as loud as when they were on my car. I have an OR X on mine. The 10 series are a single chamber race muffler. They are only like 20db quieter than open headers. I actually felt a difference in get up and go between the 10 series and 40 series.

nice!!!

can you post a link to the 10 series?

what size tips they have

Have to go to Flowmaster's website for the link. They are weld in muffler's. not a catback.

BTW... 10 series Flowmaster's make Jerry's LM1's sound quiet!!!!

10 series Flow's are race mufflers. They were L-O-U-D!!! Already heard your car and it sounds good!

I have heard 10 series flows with a BBK O/R X on a 99 GT. It was sounded ALMOST identical in tone and loudness as a WS6 with an O/R Y and SLP LM1s.

My friend told me that with catted x-pipes, Magnaflows usually sound better than flowmasters.
