Hi,

I have a '95 GT..I want to fit a catted x/h-pipe..right now I'm looking at the BBK catted pipe for shorty headers..and also the magnaflows x-pipe catted. The BBK has 2 cat's and the magna has 4 cats like the OEM pipe(magnaflows 2 catted pipe is discontinued and good luck finding, I tired), I'm leaning to teh BBk for there are only 2 cat's and it's cheaper(bbk 499 vs magna 599 in canada)..I don't have emissions so that won't be a deal in the pick..they would be paired with flowmaster thunder 40's kit...O/R pipe I have and want to reduce the smell, and do my part in being more green friendly, hehe ..Should I go BBK or Magnaflows ..

i have a upr catted X and it was a great price, great fitment, and great clearance. Generally the rule is H pipe with flowmasters, but ive heard some great combos with x pipes and flowmasters. Just go on youtube and do some searching. There are thousands of vids.

Here is a 95 GT with a catted x pipe and Flowmasters I found this in 5 seconds

I didn't even know UPR made one for my model..just checked it, nice and not to costly..I do have a problem with ground clearance already with my O/R pipe, my driveway is on a steep downgrade..if themagnaflow is really low like long tubed are..how ir the UPR pipe in comparison..is it more tucked up? ..also gonna have to see if I can get it locally versus orodering from UPR, I can just imagine the customs and shipping on a object this size

I have a 94 Cobra and it has a UPR X pipe and it sounds good but was a major pain in the arse to install. My buddy also has a 94 Cobra
and is running a BBK H pipe and it sounds real nice with his flowmasters. The UPR IS MADE by pypes for UPR. I know cause I called them to find out. If I did it over I probably get the BBK just because the fitment was so good.

I am running a magnaflow high flow catted x(4 cats) but mainly because I found them for $100 on CL in phoenix. Dude had not lowered his car so they didn't even have a scratch on them.

Im not sure how it compairs to other mid pipes, but my car isnt lowered yet and i havent bottomed out and scraped at all even speed bumps

Extreme, you said emissions isnt an issue? Why dont you just get an off road pipe then? It would sound WAY more bad ass

Well, I already have a O/R pipe in place, I had removed the original pipe couple years ago.. (hehe before my wife).
Now that I have a wife and kids, gets kinda annoying when at a stop I gotta close the windows cause they can't stand the smell. ...So daddy gets to upgrade ;)
