from what ive read (which i could be wrong) but any time a ford has a blinking light it means misfire, but like i said i could be wrong
CEL Blinks 4 Times.

Really?, That would be so cool, Let me know for sure
The thing i will be saving for over the winter is a whole new brake system, I wanna replace everything with either cobra, or better...So i am gonna throw a cheap refrub caliber on it to get me throught this summer...

Thats what i have been told as well, but the car runs and drives flawless, IDK I may just replace the coil just for giggles, to elimated it out of the equation.

mine doesnt do that... mine starts up, acts like its going to die, blinks four times, and then revves up and takes a huge breath like yours did. and like you said if i touch the gas it will die

Mine doesn't die if i hit the gas, but it does hesitate be for reving. I have been doing alot of reading and as long as the blinking stops, the misfire is not present, so our CELs blink and then go out, that means the cond is no longer present, so something at start up COULD potencely(SP) cause i misfire...
