lol, I mean the 4.6s are not bad dont get me wrong, but the 5.0 is just simple, easy, cheap and makes good power NA...I cant say the same thing about the 4.6

Anyone who gets butt hurt has probably never even owned a 5.0.

How fast are you wanting to go is the question along with how much you want to spend? I would get a 6 speed if i was you cuz you never want to have to use od if you decide to race.

its not really a question of how fast i wanna go. I just want a car that is very streetable, eat most things on the street, and will look sexy doing it. I honest wanna make about 400 to 450 on motor.

If you are set on building a motor and then adding boost later let me tell you from experience, do an R block or dart block now (or a stroked 9.5 block). I built my 347 with plans to stay N/A or possibly add a small shot of spray, but the boost bug bit and now I have a blower. Now I'm at the limit of the block with tons of potential left. On the first pull with a moderately-sized pulley, it made 554/604 (amazingly the block did not split), so a ton of timing has been taken out up top to keep it alive. I don't want to spend even more money at this point to get a better block, but we all know how this game goes... eventually I'll have an engine hoist and my motor will be hanging from it...

400-450 na is not going to be a streetable motor,if you only want 400-450 add your heads and intake and a sc of your choice.

A dart block is basically a super strong block. You can throw just about anything you want at it and it'll live (barring mechanical failures). Much thicker cylinder walls, 4 bolt mains, etc...

A dart block is a billet aluminum block. it can handle about 800-1200 hp, where the normal 302 block is pushing it around 600ish. I would like this block just because your pretty much set and dont have to worry about splitting a block. My old 91 couple had a D1 procharger on it with a 69 windsor in it making 800 hp.

i drive my cobra on the street making 600hp and its fine, the tuning needs some work... but has great manners

4.6 have better manners on the street and sc is different than all motor, that 600 hp is mostly boost not motor
