I still haven't found a wheel that I think will look better, but If I ever do (doubtful) they will be for sale. Oh I also run nitto 555 up front and Nitto drag radials out back. Drag radials have 21K miles on them ;D. They need to be changed in the next week or two.

Did this start only since the fan was wired up to function manually?

YOU MAY WANT TO CHECK THE WIRING BETWEEN THE ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY, HIGH RESISTANCE IN THE WIRING CAN CAUSE THE ALTERNATORS TO BLOW OUT. MAYBE RUBBED THE INSULATION OF SOMEWHERE AND IS SHORTING EVERYTIME IT TOUCHES ONCE IN A WHILE UNDER A CERTAIN DRIVING CONDITION. IF U HAVE AN OHM METER CHECK THE RESISTANCE WITH IT DISCONNECTED FROM THE CAR. I THINK IT SHOULD BE LESS THAN AN OHM ALTHOUGH NOT POSITIVE.

to be honest(i know this sounds like a pain in the ass) I would take and start by changing the harness in your charging circuit. Or if your handy with a multimeter, take and ohm out all of your wires. If their is high resistance, which could cause current not to get to the places it should, you should see a resistance of greater than one. Seeing as how your diode was bad, i would say the others were the same, and this could be the problem with it. If it was the regulator, that would be caused by loose grounds and connections and such. Start by ohming out the cables between the alt and the battery, and then ohming out the rest. Also check to make the block is grounded correctly. This can also cause issues like this.

i know how it goes to troubleshoot a problem like this, so i feel for ya! i drove a mitsubishi all through school, and they are notorious for alternator problems. Just start with the basics and work your way up from their.

I forgot to mention, the Alterntor pulley is stock size and has been since they went on. I'm not sure what was wrong with all the other alternators, but I can tell you the first duralast one had a bearing going out or something internal rubbing.
