whats the cheapest complete, just needing assembly roll cage on the market?

i found a company that meets nhra specs, but they want 350... im pretty sure theres a bolt in kit for less? atleast i thought there was.

also, if you have it dont be shy about posting pics, im looking into buying a modded 00' gt, but the first owner had an aftermarket sun roof installed... and im not sure if i trust the rigidity of the body... im thinking a roll cage and sub frame connectors are a must... just to be on the safe side.

thanks.

Unless you're running 11.49 or quicker, the rollcage isn't necessary for NHRA. Further, a bolt-in cage isn't NHRA legal anyway.

Although the sunroof would make the car slightly less rigid, it's going to be nominal and not as much of a concern as a convertible top. (for example) A good set of full-length subframe connectors from Maximum Motorsports would fit the bill.

sub frame connectors are a must have item. the cage would help, and if 350 is the lowest i can find... very worth it.

If your going to spend the money why would you do it half way and not do it the right way and get a quality product and somethign that will be there for you if you should ever need it.

I was thinking the same thing. A roll cage would be the last thing I'd try to get a bargain on! Never the less $350 doesn't sound too bad for a cage. Maximum Motorsports has 6-points for $370 and even that seems a little excessive for having concerns of the rigidity... Especially since you plan on doing subframe connectors.
