I recently found out that there's a different place to buy your oil from, which I knew stocked the oil, but never thought to buy it from them.

I always went to autozone/advance auto to buy my oil, but went to Wal-mart recently, and found they sell 5 quart containers of mobil 1 synthetic for less than $24.00!

You can pick up 5 quarts of conventional motor oil for around 12 bucks..Just thought I'd share the info incase some people were trying to save a few bucks!

I always thought about doing my oil shopping at Wal Mart but always ended up going to advanced anyway

They don't carry the Motorcraft 10w30 like they used to. They do carry the 5w20 synthetic Motorcraft though.

I get my Royal Purple at either O'Reilly's or Advance, who ever has it on sale.

Royal Purple=Fail. Not worth the price. Mobil 1 is better. Check out amsoil.com. I wish there was a dealer near me because I would run it.

whats the difference in running 10w30 to 5w30???? JW
When using multi grade oils the first number is the viscosity also called weight (W) during cold starts, the second number is the grade or weight of the oil during operating temperatures. Source:http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/oildefinitions.html
That site will blow your mind with info on oil-filters.
So basically 5w will reach the top end faster then 10w when cold. Also slightly easier on the oil pump as well (ever so slightly).
