CHIP For 96 with custom cams???? already have cams in wont idle

I have a set of ported pi heads and intake and i installed a set of anderson camshafts the n-32 high rev, it only has around a 214 duration but i cant get the car to idle! ahhhhh, anyways anyone do a similar mod and what did you use for the computer im looking at just buying the pms standalone just
to do it and get the car working right, it will idle for a second then die!! any ideas

mpre info, I started it up ran fine for a couple min sometimes it will come down to idle at 700 rmps you can tell it has a noticble idle then just dies after a min, if you drive it as soon as you push in the clutch it and the enine would come downt to idle it dies! i just am running out of ideas on what to check befor i decide if i needed a chip i was told i didnt need one it would help with power gains but i could still run and drive the car????

Did you triple check all vacuum lines and also clean your IAC?

As you already mentioned a tune will get the most benefit for power out of the cams but it should still idle

When i installed my heads and cams my car would not hold idle and stall. The only thing that fixed it was a Dyno Tune. I used SCT products.
