chipped key help

my car stopped reading my key today now it works when it wants to what could have gone bad to make it do this? is there any way just to get rid of the chipped part all toghther

prettysure you can turn it off with a tuner but not for sure. It could be the key, or it could be the ring that reads the key. Does any other key work?

i only have one one and i dont wana spend the money on a key and it not be the key thats bad

Buy a new ignition with transponder keys cost you about 40-55 bucks and I'll walk you threw how to programs the keys urself it takes 45 mins to program the first key in 3 15 min intervals and the second key takes likes 30 seconds.... Ive done this numerous times ford does it there own way that costs like 200 bucks lol

oh heck I didn't notice his name said 94, as he said there is no chip on 94 but there could be an aftermarket alarm installed.
