Yeah I dont what was going on in my head when I did that. Oh well I having been out cruising it around today and I forgot how much I love this thing. I have a set of cobra r wheels that I need to get sandblasted and powdercoated for it that I think will look pretty good, even though they are just 17x8's, but money is going to be a little tight for awhile. I also would like to maybe cut a little off of my eibach springs to lower is just a little more. I have to find budget things to do since in a little less than a month I will be a new daddy to a little girl. I'm hoping that since she is due on Ford Carlisle weekend that she ends up being a ford fan, lol.

I havent updated in a little while so here she goes....
I got my wheels sandblasted and painted, turns out they are 98 cobra wheels not cobra r's like I had originally thought, but none the less I dig them. I put 1 1/4" spacers in the rear to bring the wheels out flush. I think they turned out well and I will be happy with them for awhile. I also picked up a mach 1 lip at Carlisle and got that installed. I wasnt sure how I would feel about it but I love it, changes the look of the car quite a bit. I will try to get some pics posted tomorrow. On June 7 my wife and I had our little baby girl Madison, my future mustang girl, lol. So my build thread will be slowing down even more than it already has, which I'm ok with. I also ordered drilled and slotted rotors front and rear along with some leds for the gauge cluster and hvac( Thanks Ferocious!) Again I will take before and after pics. Not much going on but I forgot how little things can make a big difference in a car.

I ordered some leds off of ebay for $11.
100_0891.jpg

I got them installed and I must say this will be a mod I do on any vehicle I can from now on. Cheap and looks/works great.
Pics are crappy but it gets the point across.

love that blue color...its relaxing at night...my guages were my fav visual mod and it was cheap...but im not a fan of drilled rotors unless its an actual race car...they actually provide you with less braking power and premature failure due to the lack of surface area..but they do cool well..

Wow I didnt even realize anyone posted on my build thread. Yeah I will admit the rotors are a little for looks but I dont road race or anything, just drag race here and there, but I dont experience any lack of braking compared to stock. The leds still dim with the switch and thanks the buff job turned out well except for the fact that now I can see that someone had stick on hood scoops on my car before and every ding stands out big time now.

I love my bright atlantic blue, but black has to be the sexiest color on a sn95 when its clean! My DD is a black truck and I hate trying to keep it clean!!!

I know what you mean, my dd is a black truck and my wife's is a black equinox. I'm tired of trying to keep them all clean. I think when I can afford to get the mustang painted, I may do a color change.

Not really anything exciting to update on but I got a set of the smoked amber corner lights(inspired by JonBeast)

I also ordered white face gauge overlays for $5 from Brothers Performance if anyone is interested, they are on sale. I also ordered a s281 wing. I like the wingless look but the paint on my trunk is kinda thrashed where the stock spoiler covered.

Well its been a disappointing week for me. First I ordered a set of white face gauges, since I love the look of the cobra gauges, and I went through the hassle of installing them. After I get them installed I realize I dont like them since the writing is blue where the cobras have black lettering, correct? So I put the stockers back in.
100_0918.jpg

Then today I recieve the s281 spoiler I had ordered from special carbon fiber on amazon. I have seen a lot of people on here have purchased from them without issue so I wasnt expecting this.

100_0916.jpg

On top of that the bolt holes dont line up completely which isnt that big of a deal to enlarge them a little but it sounds like there is rocks inside the spoiler. WTF! So now I need to email them and see if they will do anything otherwise I am stuck trying to fix this thing. I understand when something is priced cheap it usually is cheap but come on. Todays build thread lesson... spend a little more to start save more later. On a positive note a guy is supposed to be buying my dirt bike tonight and I am thinking of using the cash to buy some new wheels. I know my choices are played out but I am 1 of 1 sn95s in my area. I'm thinking staggered 17s bullits or fr500s in either anthracite or black opinions? Or step up to 18s in either choice.

18" anthracite fr500's. All my non mustang car buddies were begging me not to put bullits on the car when i first got it. They're everywhere, hell my dads gt has them stock. Get something different. Id have totally gone non-standard if i didn't have these fr-500's on my talon i parted out before i bought the mustang.

My only concern with getting 18s is, I love how 315s look from the back, do the 18s look as "aggressive"?
