From a distance 285's don't look that much smaller than a 315. The width of the wheels will make them look wider if you still go with 9's and 10's.

I emailed Specialcarbonfiber and surprisingly they answered the same day, arranged for fed ex to come pick it up at my house, and will be sending me another spoiler. We will see how things go.

I ordered a hofibertrends 2.5 cobra r hood today and I bought a 67mm turbo for this winters project hopefully. It is just a chinese job for now but I'm hoping with how little I drive the car, I can build the kit and upgrade later. I know my stock bottom end wont hold up to a whole lot of boost anyways so it will do. My friend built his kit for his 351w turbo coupe using a precision 88mm and he is going to help me out. I plan on just picking up pieces here and there as funds allow. I really wish I didnt throw my stock gears in the trash now.

manufacturing isnt flawless. things go wrong. The trick is to stand behind your product to the bitter end.

and that goes both ways. consumers must understand thigns arent always perfect, and to give the company ample time to properly react. Sometimes this doesnt go properly (i'm sure we've all see the On3turbo videos, for example) but it's imporant to give them time to figure out what the problem was to ensure it doesnt happen again. Clark, you're doing a killer job at letting them show you they care about your business....

Just an update on my experience with specialcarbonfiber... I recieved the replacement spoiler today and it is much better. They packaged it a little better this time and included different length hardware. I dont know what the deal was with the first but I'm glad they took care of everything quickly and without it costing me any more money. I would buy from them again. P.s. when installing a pro 5.0 shifter make sure that the trans is in 3rd COMPLETELY before setting the stop. It is a pain in the ass to put it all back together and realize the mistake, lol.

To catch up to where I am now...
I installed my s281 spoiler and I installed my HO fibertrends hood along with redline tuning hood struts.

A friend of mine gave me a Ford Racing Speed Calibrator and I ordered a SCT tuner from a member on another forum

So I downloaded the new tune and the car ran great, not a huge difference but better. I took the car out for a ride and decided to jump on it and boom there goes t45 number 2. So it looks like I will be doing a trans swap and clutch upgrade, lol.
