Remember with the battery in the back you have 2 options, 1 seal battery in box and vent out side car, or 2, leave battery open, not sealed in a box and enclose bulkhead and package tray with steal "rear firewall"

Like this ? I was wondering about the steel rear seat delete so with this and a regular rear seat delete is fine ? I got threw tech Saturday night

As long as the battery is sealed in a box and vented to the exterior of the car, no steal bulkhead is needed. Only when there is an open battery. I have a Steeda Hardcore Box (aluminum) with no vent now... but I have the Scott Rodd RSD and package tray...

Was thinking about this post just now as I was cutting around the keyhole to shave it. I am going to put a flip-up license plate and mount the keyhole behind it but if you don't want the key it should not be hard at all to modify the lock-pull to work with the new lock rod like I had been talking about.
