I need to clean up my engine bay. It is not greasy just dirty. Is gunk o.k. to use in the engine bay on these cars? I am worried about the electronics.

I sprayed mine with Simple Green Max (concentrated more) and then wiped the gunky parts and resprayed and let it sit for a little bit then sprayed it off with low low pressure water (to make sure I didn't hit any electronics) then I wiped it dry and cleaned the hoses and stuff with detailer. Looks nice once I got done

It doesnt take too long to do either. I cleaned mine a few times in a row (car show the next day + years of flith) but the end result was def worth it.

+1 for simple green!! +1 for wrapping the electronics in plastic +1 for big boobs :) I saturated every square inch of mine with simple green while the engine was out and followed that up with good ole elbow grease with a final rinse with a pressure washer... Night and day difference!!!
