this is in type, its defamation(sp?)

its neither. if it was a false statement it would be libel since it is written but i've done nothing but provide an account of my experience.

well just curious, have you talked to them yet or just hoped they would be on the forum? You could also try in their new section as I am sure the monitor that.

I have no desire to speak to them any more. I've bought my last part from them and I couldn't care less that they are on this forum. I just wanted to let people know that these lights don't fit and that the vendor knows they don't fit and still thinks its ok to continue selling them.

I have yet to find a set of aftermarket corners that fit really well...I'm not sure why these companies can't get it right.

thats crappy that you will not even contact them to give them a chance to correct the sitution and then go open a post to talk about it. That part could be just a little bit off and manf defect, its not their fault. Do the right thing and see if they will fix it for you and then if not go start the defamation but with out giving them the chance to correct it is a mistake on your part.

how is it crappy of me? I called them 5 times, 3 times I got hung up on while being transferred because the rep that answered didn't want to deal w/ a return and then the 4th time someone picked up the phone and hung it up then the 5th time I finally get to explain my situation and I get shit on. Do you really think that I'll get anywhere trying to call back?
Do the right thing
The right thing at this point is for me to go out and tell everyone that they pissed me off over a $60 part while I'm in the middle of restoring a '67 that I have since spent over $5000 on in the last 2 months with other vendors. I wouldn't have spent it all with them but I was in the mood to drop some money the day I called about the lights.

with out giving them the chance to correct it is a mistake on your part.
Really? So now customer service means the consumer needs to be at fault for buying crap?

And even though I'm not exactly happy about this at no time was I ever irate, ugly or anything but polite on the phone before that gets brought up because I was hung up on.

I apologize for using the term slandered. What I meant was I am surprised that they did not come here to try and defend themselves. My apologies for my interwebz mistake

It does seem to be a problem with most companies. If it's not the fit, it's the weather stripping, or the housing seal...what else is there? lol

My APC corners fit the same back in the day, they all fit like crap, some have oversized rubbers that make it work, the best thing to do is remove the stripping off OEM lights and putting it on those.
