Anyone ever had lights on the needles work but not behind the gauges themselves?

All lights but behind the Guages work..even the needles work

Pull the cluster out and inspect the board. Take pics and let us see as well.

also inspect the are between the harness and where it plugs into. Its kind of a bad design where the copper traces can lift/move and cause problems. You should always inspect the copper traces prior to plugging it back in.
