well my first thought was the cable so i sprayed some white grease in it. but it didnt help, after picking it up at my shop i see that its the pressure plate making the squeaking. its the ram HD from latemodelrestoration.com with maybe 3k on it. it was a top seller so i decided to give it a try. the grab is good and pedal feels great, just squeaks. anyone had this problem with any pressure plate?

a lot of times the throw out bearing will go bad, does it squeak all the time or just when you don't have the clutch pedal pushed in? Some times when you apply pressure to the throw out bearing it will stop squeaking.

the throw out bearing is squeaking, i know that and its a new oem part too. but even with the engine off when i release the clutch pedal the pressure plate squeaks. i have an adjustable cable and quadrant already.

do you have a firewall adjuster also? mine didnt stop squeaking until I got mine installed and id keep a stock clutch cable in handy just in case, ive been told the aftermarket ones arent worth a damn until its and actual OEM clutch cable
