Hi, my car is a 96 GT, basically i'm experiencing a very slight vibration when letting up the clutch in to 1st gear, not sure if vibration is the right word as it's hard to explain in writing, it may also be described as a slight scraping, you can't really hear it it's more something you can feel on the accelearator pedal, it's not too bad though, so if I keep the revs up and let the clutch up slowly the vibration is not there but if I do it too quick I get the vibration, then when driving off in 1st and 2nd gear it's hard to explain but there's a very slight vibration that I can feel on the accelerator pedal, feels like something scraping if that makes sense? 3, 4 and 5 and reverse are ok but it's just 1 and 2, i'm going to have a look underneath it tomorrow just to check if anything is rubbing or touching, also it may be worth mentioning that the clutch pedal is quite heavy, is it normal on the SN95's to be heavy? I had an 05 and it was much lighter than my 96 so maybe it's because i've been used to the newer car? Even my old 68 Charger had a lighter clutch than the 96 : ) thanks a lot for any help, it's a great car otherwise

sounds like clutch chatter to me. the pressure plate or clutch face might be glazed causing the chatter too.
