Clutch question

I recently got a clutch kit for a STEAL at Summit Racing and was wondering if I would be able to use it for my '04 GT? The reason I ask is because it's a Ram HDX clutch for the 05-09 model GT. Checked the specs and they seem to be dead on, even the same transmission. For the price, I am glad to have it even if I can't use it as one of my Mustang friends could really benefit from this find. Any info is appreciated!

I'm thinking the difference may be due to the crank bolt design? Maybe I'm way off (I know very little about clutches) but that's the only possible difference I can find...

If it has a different part # then the one made for the 04 I wouldn't take the chance. I bet RAM could answer that better tho.

I have already purchased it. It was FAR too good of a deal to pass on. Worst case, I'll just sell it or use it later in a 3v swap :)

I'm still going to give them a call. Really curious to find the root cause of whether or not this would work. Seeing that it's a different part number there has to be a reason. I'll let you guys know what I find out.

Just in case anyone searches this and would like to know, the difference was the crank bolt pattern IIRC. Sorry to ressurect a dead thread.
