Clutch time..! Yay...

So I blew out my clutch last night at the track..best time I ran was a 9.2 at 81 in the 1/8th"..Couldnt believe how slow I was running (Needing tuning..and tires)

Whats a good bang for the buck clutch kit? I hear about the king cobra..which sounds like itll fit my needs..are these f1 stage 2 clutches junk?

I dont have a lotta money to spend so..yeah. Heh

Spec Stage 1 - $209

Kit includes clutch disc, pressure plate, pilot bearing, throw-out bearing and alignment tool.

Clutch is rated to 410 lb/ft torque

Valeo produces MANY oe clutches for GM and Chrysler...and id also have to assume ford to a point for some applications...

Ah ok, just checking. Ill either go with the spec stage 1 or the king cobra stage 1 or 2..

I just hope I dont break the tranny..even though I know itll happen eventually :(

I was ready to get the king cobra but heard multiple complaints about pedal feel so I went with the fidanza stage 1

King Cobra feels nice, Cobra is stiff Valeo makes em both. They are really just truck clutches.

ACT is very nice bang for the buck

Ive had a Spec stage 2 in my car for 4 years now. When it goes out... I'll be getting another
