cobra brakes

alright, did an 03 cobra brake upgrade (front) on a 00gt today. all it took was loaded calipers (caliper/brackets/pads) and rotors. no new hoses, no new banjo bolts, NOTHING.

my question is what exactly would i need for my 96??? i am assuming since i dont think i have PBR calipers that i'd need banjo bolts and hoses from a PBR caliper car and of coarse the pads/rotors/brackets... searched and cannot find anything specific to the non PBR cars.

i know for my 95 all i needed was the calipers, rotors and pads, new hoses and banjo bolts. found the hoses from Rabestos on rockauto.com for about $12 each

so i need EVERYTHING listed under all the "brake conversion packages" on LMR and AM's sites?

you could try using stock lines and banjo bolts. I just sold my Cobra kit to my friend, and he installed them on his 88 Notch. Stock lines and banjo bolts worked just fine.

see this is where i get conflicting info. everything says the 10th anniversary calipers use a different banjo bolt thread pitch, but nothing about the 99-03 cobra which i'd be using.

heres my prices on the following parts, all raybestos parts:

loaded calipers: $68/per
rotors: $43/per
hoses: $10/per
banjo bolts if needed $2 (price of getting in the U pull it to pocket them off any 99+ v6/gt/cobra)

so under $250 i'll have new cobra front brakes, although the calipers are remanufactered everything else would be new, i dont see how i can NOT do this.

on the other hand, i have EVERYTHING to do the PBR aluminum dual piston caliper upgrade for free and i like that they are lighter, but not sure its worth the effort. someone help me decide.

I have the 03 anni brakes
i used the Banjo bolts, pads,rotors,hoses and calipers on my 94gt.
Im sure youll need the same.
