So my buddy and I are trying to install A H/C/I on his 95 GT. Everything is bolted into the car however when we try to bolt the Cobra upper intake to the lower, we have clearance issues and it hits the Valve Covers. Has anyone run into this before? Would an intake spacer solve the issue? Thanks Guys!

you'll have that problem if you're running tall valve covers, stock should clear though. An intake spacer will fix that problem but chances are you'll need a hood to clear the intake after you space it up, if you could get away with a half inch or 3/8" spacer it might fit under the stock hood, might.

I run a 3/8 spacer on some tall valve covers. It slightly rubs the hood blanket and you will not be able to use the stock brace on top but it fits.

Even without the spacer a stock Strut Tower Brace Wont clear. But yeah the 3/8 inch spacer cleared the Fox Body Valve Covers.

Stock strut tower bar is made for GTs, they will not clear a GT-49 intake, you'll have to get an aftermarket one that's made to clear other intakes.
