COBRA IRS swap spring question

I am contemplating doing a cobra IRS swap, preferably a trade with someone local, I am in Oregon if anyone is interested. Current axle is a 2000 gt with 3.73 gears and very very tight limited slip. Anyway my car has been lowered with eibach springs and would look weird if I used stock cobra springs since it would ride high in the rear. Would my GT eibach springs bolt in with the IRs swap, therefor maintaining the lowered ride height? I know the spring rates are different because of the suspension geometry. Would there be an easy way for me to lower the cobra springs to match the front without using a torch, ie those interesting coil spring clamps, can't believe I even suggested those but would that work or would I be best off just using my gt eibach springs?

I do not believe your SRA springs will work with at all with the IRS. If you're going to do it, then save up and purchase the correct springs for it.

Completely different springs. Spring rate, spring length and style of spring.

Hmm Maybe I will get really lucky and the person I swap with will already have lowering springs, probably not but you never know.

The IRS is on its way and I am looking at getting some used H&R race springs for the rear. I already have H&R super sport springs in front. The race springs are about 10% stiffer than the super sport springs but when you consider the manufacturing tolerances that are large especially when the spring rate for the front race springs is between 750 and 850 lb-in. Its hard to tell how much different the race springs will make the rear behave when you could order a complete set of race springs and have the front left be 750 and the front right be 850 due to tolerances. The tolerances on the super sport springs are slightly less in front with a range of 700 to 750 lb-in. I am not going to compare rear race springs to rear super sport springs because I couldn't find a listing for cobra irs super sport springs just the race ones. The spring rates for the rear irs springs are about double that of rear live axle springs.
