Finally making up my mind to go IRS after price comparing a floating rear end vs IRS. Looking 2003/2004, 2001 or 1999 with the recall done. Would have to be shipped to Arizona 85212. Thanks.

If you're still in the market, look up a company called East Coast Mustangs I think they're outta South Carolina. They posted a COMPLETE IRS for sale yesterday I think for $1200. I bought a complete T5 swap from them a couple years ago, super good guys to deal with and they have no problems shipping big stuff.

Thanks Elrod, I didn't see that one on their website, just an 03-04 and will be calling them on Monday. Thanks!

I'd hate to see the shipping cost on a 300+lb rear end like that. I got lucky when I got mine and only had to drive about an hour away. I was really close to buying one from down south for $1,200 and was dreading the shipping cost.

Good luck!!!

It wouldn't really be that bad if it was strapped down to a skid, shipped via freight, and there was a forklift and/or loading dock at both ends.

Everything they sent me was piled onto one pallet and shrink wrapped. I was just lucky enough to be able to ship it to a business address here and unload it using their forklift when it came in so shipping was like $75 I think.

I got a hold of them this morning, Eddie, and they set me up with a new customer coupon code and the best shipping. A serious thank you Elrod!

So glad I saw this thread, any thing I need to know to put one in my 95 ?

You will have to bend some brake lines, drill the front control arm bolts to 14mm, and either weld the rear mount bracket to the frame or drill two vertical holes into the trunk and bolt the bracket down. Then lastly, the pinion flange from the cobra is larger that from the gt so you have to swap those out.

Dose the "kit" come with the flange and bolts etc ?

If you are referring to the Pinion flange, it should be held on with the pinion nut if I am not mistaken so it would not require any other fastening devices. Not including the driveshaft bolts of course.

Right? They had another IRS pop up and I was like, "Well the daily could use one too I guess."
