The Gt ones wont fit, i recently aquired the full rear set up brand new at very reasonable money to be honest if it hadn't been cheap i wouldn't have bothered.

The ford racing kit is like 170 dollars which includes all the needed hardware, and new rotors. I would just go that route.

I just bought this setup from American Muscle. PM the vendor. I was able to get it for Summit's price - shipped.

Couple of things I'd like to point out. Most of the braking is done by the front wheels, which is why even road racers pretty much neglect the rear brakes on the mustangs by using street pads like HPS in there. Having said that:

1. The Cobra kit is vented, this kit is not. Vented kit will remain cooler, and work better.

2. Cobra rotor is smaller, and will weight less. That huge 13 inch rotor will definitely slow down your car under acceleration over the vented 11.65 inch rotor that Ford Racing uses.

3. This kit is way more expensive, for what is essentially two brakets and two rotors.

Ultimately, there is an advantage in running a larger rotor, heat decipation, and caliper leverage due to being installed that far off the center, but the weight, the price, and the point that it's a solid rotor work against it.

I thought about that kit for a while too. But after a few PMs with people that have that setup, the main complaint they had is that when braking there was a fluttering sound, it sounded like somone was "fanning a deck of cards" what I can only attribute to the cross-drilled holes & the non-vented rotor, but I could be wrong as to the cause.

They liked the way it looked though. The upside is it is a lot less work for the installation

One thing about the Ford stuff, at least it fits, one of the most annoying thing of a lot of aftermarket stuff is having to move or modify something.

Good point. I forgot to mention that some had to do some grinding on "something" (I forget exactly what) to get everything to clear properly. It wasn't a big ordeal, but some "adjustment" had to be made with that setup from Baer.
