Is anyone running comp stg 2's on here with an NPI bottom end? im just curious if there is any worry of sucking a valve because the npi pistons are much shallower than pi's

I ran them but i had aftermarket valves that have smaller margins then stock.

And its not the piston, the PTV occurs on the edge of the piston so you can have a 35cc dished piston and still get ptv.

The issue is the stock PI Valves have a thick margin so like Hitech suggests you can have them ground down or get valve reliefs cut in the piston.

aight cool thanks, ill have the valves ground down since the heads are being ported and assembled at bo-port in fremont, they do great work so i cant trust them with it

I have 270's on my car before getting rid of them a week ago, and sold them to a member on here who i think is also pi swapped.....

their the exact cam that i have. from what ive learned you can use factory timing and not worry about anything slapping.. enjoy 10:1 and cams

Degreeded cams rule the world and should ALWAYS BE DONE !!! No reason to install cams and give away free hp

they will be degreed on the rebuild duffy, i just dont have the time or paitence. and plus if im going to tear it apart later on then what the hell is the point.
