Alright, first off I love this site. Its one of my favorites and thats why I come here from time to time. But some of the knowledge here and left me a bit fired up. NAMELY passenger side mirror removal and installing.

I did a search for side mirror here.
http://www.sn95forums.com/forum/index.php?action=search2

All these threads simply say, remove the plastic triangle pod and unscreew the three bolts, boom your done. Wrong, WRONG. I took this apart only to find out the power cord connecting my mirror is deeper in the door and is bolted down so it won't shake or budget. SO NOW I'm forced to remove the door, which I'm unsure of.

Notice in my pictures, you can't get to this by hand, nor will pliers reach correctly. Now, I feel better after venting this sites bad mirror advice.

Anyone know the PROPER step by step procedure to remove the inner door trim?

yeah dude, its simple

remove the plastic around door handle, it just pops off
Pop out plastic "door pull" panel
unscrew the 2 phillips screws behind that
unscrew your door lock knob (or handle whatever)
Pull up on the door panel and walla

ima gonna try to take my door off this week end. I've made several attempts at lifting it. but something keeps holding it. I have the mirror plate off and yet something still keeps it from coming up. Does the inner door trim come off in two parts? or is it one big piece? Is there a screw to remove some where before I lift the door off, i'm assuming u lift it off. I really REALLy don't want to break my door trim.

So i pull the 2 plastic pieces off before the door. The plastic area holding the window and lock switches & the plastic around the door handle? And then there are screws under the door handle plastic?

Why don't you look at my second picture in my first post and tell me the door doesn't need to come off.

You can't fingers, pliers NOTHING in that hole to pinch that loose. That cord in the picture is the cord to my Power mirrors. If you pull on it, it goes no where its stuck in place even after you pop it off the door. The door must come off for the mirror to come off. Yea, sure the three nuts holding the mirror were not a problem, its when you find the cord and get pissed, is the problem. I'll probably take pics and do a wright up when I do it.
