hey man sweet car love the way you went with it. what all would i need to do a KB on my 98 gt been lookin around to start getting parts but dont really have a clue on what to get and what i need thanks alot and love the car

I hate matte/ flat black. I think it looks cheap and like crap but your car is soooo sexy! you made the paint look smooth and well done and i think most people lack on that part and thats what makes them look bad. Your engine bay is flawless and done absolutely amazingly. you did such a good job and it is by far my favorite matte black car

KB98GT, do absolutely need to run cobra R hood with the 2.6L. I really want this blower setup under my saleen heat extractor hood. I think its a 1.5" Cowl but I have no idea if it would clear. It bolsters out like a 96-98 cobra hood in the middle but taller in a sense. I would hate to go 2.1L just because I can't get a 2.6L under the hood lol. I love 2.1's but I think you can spin them to 650hp without some crazy work.

Yes you need to use a cobra R hood. It just clears the blower and throttle body!

Hey nate,you can also try to shim your kmemeber from the body,bringing the motor down lower,it would change ride height some but if you had coilovers you would be ok too.

So an aftermarket K-member will bring it down some, or using shims on the stock K-member. I saw a thread on svtp where some guy got a GT500 motor in his 02-04 Saleen extreme.
