Will a computer chip help my car? I have a cold air intake, headers, cat back exhaust and a explorer intake.

No.

Once you get into heads etc. A tune will help. At this point adjusting timing and fuel pressure will be just fine.

In short, yes it would help; but not worth it on a fairly stock setup. Swap heads and/or cam and a tune is a must to take full advantage of the heads/cam.
