are you talking frame and everything?? or just the canvas??

if its the entire unit then it can be done in an afternoon.

theres around 15-20 bolts style tak strips around the back window boot area and 4 bolts behind each 1/4 panel. after those are off the motor can be pulled out with all the hydrolics attached. 1 bolt on each side to take the hydrolics off, swap them to the new top unit and put it back into the car.

its not that hard, i did mine this way 2 winters ago.

I've had my tops replaced 3 times. I had it all done, so I have no idea what you do. I do know that the 1st one took about 7 hours! # 2 took about 3 hours. That place did my 3rd, as well. It's a big job to do. I did have my LH side rail replaces maybe 2 years ago. They left the convertible top on it. That's all I know.
