just wondering what is all needed to convert from efi to a carb set up?
mustangshane said:Like ReplicaR said, you'll want to go to a low pressure pump in the tank. The bleed off systems will fry your fuel pump within a few thousand miles. Then just swap over the intake and carb. . But I wonder why as well. I understand its your choice and I have done this once before. I wished I hadn't. Thats why I asked.

Gas mileage, performance and driveability. They would have all been better and easier IMO if I had left things EFI. But I had to learn the hard way. You can tune a carb to perform very nicely. But expect to be out there every time the weather changes more than 10 degrees , dialing the carb back in. Its a good learning experience though.
