Different fuel pump just to start it. Carbs run low fuel pressure.

Like ReplicaR said, you'll want to go to a low pressure pump in the tank. The bleed off systems will fry your fuel pump within a few thousand miles. Then just swap over the intake and carb. . But I wonder why as well. I understand its your choice and I have done this once before. I wished I hadn't. Thats why I asked.

Pump, fuel pickup or sumped tank, lines, regulator, throttle cable and bracket, intake manifold, carburetor, spacer (if any), air cleaner, and gas money.

Stay EFI.

Gas mileage, performance and driveability. They would have all been better and easier IMO if I had left things EFI. But I had to learn the hard way. You can tune a carb to perform very nicely. But expect to be out there every time the weather changes more than 10 degrees , dialing the carb back in. Its a good learning experience though.

That is a tad drastic. I've had performance carb'd vehicles and carb'd daily drivers. With the right setup you will have great performance and street manners. Yes when it is really humid performance will suffer and when it's bitter cold (ie WI winters) they do take some time to heat up) And gas mileage isn't horrible with a carb just as long as you can keep your foot out of the long pedal.

EFI is great for just getting in an going and is way more adjustable. Like right now I have a SCT FlipChip and have tunes for stock, 91 octane N/A performance, and 91 octane N20 performance and can do ones for fuel economy, race gas, and alcohol all with a flip of a switch. With a carb to switch tunes like that I'd get out and re-jet the carb and adjust the timing and that is just as long as my fuel system is compatible with alcohol.

Carb setups are not as bad as people make it out to be but if it's a street car keep it efi.
