I have a 96 gt with the cooling fan stuck on and the only to turn it off is pull the fuse. It stays on with the key off the whole time it's running. It defiantly runs colder I am assuming its a short to power. Stuck closed relay or somethingif anyone knows anything about this teach me stuff I don't know much about this circuit. Ill print off wire diagrams and try to trace something. Please and thanks

My guess is going to be a stuck relay....not uncommon to happen, especially if it's an original. Buy a new one and start from there. The cheaper the better, right?

Well I only seen a fuse for the fan I don't see a relay. I seen people talk a bout ccmc or something like that. I have no idea where it's at what it looks like it stands for constant control module circuit under the over flow. Seen nothing

CCRM= constant control relay module
it houses the relays for the hi and low speed fans, a/c compressor, and fuel pump.

Would the fan relay in the module effect my fuel pump or maybe the compressor? I think my mpg might have went down. Where can I get one? Online or junkyard probably.

NO. there are 4 seperate relays inside the CCRM.
If your MPg's went down then there is a diffeent prob.
I have heard of some parts houses carrying the CCRM but I don't know which ones.

there was a thread recently about a guy that got a 95 taurus CCRM. It worked great plus as an added feature, when you shut the car off the fan would remain on till the rad. cooled off.
