I'm doing a engine rebuild soon and was just wondering what you guys think would be the cost from any shop if I brought them these parts and wanted put on. heads, rocker arms, upper and lower manifolds, throttle body, maf, injectors, headers and a professional tune.

These are things I could probably do myself, but have very little experience and could be quickly getting over my head with no one to point me in the right direction. Thanks

I would be surprised if you can find a shop to do it that way nor do I think that is really what you should do. If I were to completely change the top end I think I would like the bottom end to also be done. But getting back to your question. Are all the parts new? I ask because if they're not there will be other things to consider. My guess is between $1200 and $1500 which will include gaskets, fluids, etc. The tune will be extra. And of course there will be no guarantee related to the parts supplied and if they find other issues that need to be corrected the costs will increase.

That's my $0.02 opinion.

Like BlkoutGT said Take lots of pics. Also have a bunch of ziplocks and put the parts in the bags and label what they are and I also put the torque on the bag for quicker reassembly. Another good thing is 2" wide masking tape to label any wiring/tubing you have to take off(what it is and where it goes). You do these things and it will help you to understand what the parts are and where they go. Good luck either way you go.
