Note to guys who wish their wives/girlfriends would get into the hobby - beware what you ask for, because you may get it! My story:

Have a set of rebuilt PI heads and a Ford Racing PI intake sitting ready to install on my car. I was looking for all the bits and pieces (alternator bracket, coolant tube, etc.) needed for the conversion and found a 2001 cop car engine and trans for $175 on Craigslist. Sold the trans for $100, planned on keeping what I needed off the motor for my swap and selling off the rest for a nice profit.

My wife asked if she could have the valve covers to paint and put on her car, then cocked her head a little bit and said very innocently "if it has the PI heads, can't we swap the heads onto my car too?" :sad5:

Uh oh.

But really though....thats every guys dream.

Yeah, since I spend time and money on her car she can't complain about me spending time and money on mine! Her car had a good exhaust when we got it and all the work done so far has been wheels/tires, suspension, and interior. Had no idea she wanted power too. I'm so proud!:headbang:

Her tires were shot, had Tire Rack deliver the new ones to my corner garage for install next week. Cindy said since they were going to have it anyway, why not have them install the Eibach springs and align it at the same time? I still have work to do on my car before it is driveable, so having them do the work 1) lets me get my car done, and 2) if it is screwed up, it isn't my fault. Win win!
