He guys,

I just had my crower stage 3's installed. Havent driven the car yet but it sounds really mean. Its at my friends house (mechanic) being worked on still. He is doing some welding on my exhaust and replacing my heater core (thank God!). I am going to have it dyno tuned on friday using my xcal2. I am hoping for 315+ with all my mods (svo heads/intake and every bolt on imaginable). I am then going to the track to run it on saturday. Looking for 12's with 315/35 nitto drags. If i can pull a good 60' i think it may happen.

I'll update this weekend!

WOW stage 3's...i bet they are rough sounding (in a good way)
I've heard the stage 2 N/A & Blower cams and both sound great and made good power...i bet the 3's are even better. Did you have any work done on your SVO heads?

No work to them.........................yet :)

Im sure i will yang theem off down the road to have some work done to them. I will probably do so at rebuild time. I may go with a big bore with higher compression.

I'm hoping for 315-330 at the wheels on friday. Who knows maybe i'll see even more but doubt it. I'll let ya'll know.

hey guys,

Just got back home from picking up my car. Stayed at a friends for he weekend with it (where dyno and mech are). It was dyno tuned Friday in in 93 degree heat using an xcal2 on a mustang dyno. It made 291 hp at 6000 rpm and 295 torque at 4900 rpm. I was hoping for more but more but am happy considering the heat. My power curve is as smooth as a babies but too so cant complain there. My friend that tuned it was supposed to email me my dyno sheet but i havent gotten it yet. All i have is a prin out, but i will post it as soon as i get it. To answer a question some may have though: Low end torque is pretty good.

235 lb/ft at 2500 rpm
265 lb/ft at 3500 rpm

The car idles perfect and actually runs through rpm much smoother than before. Idle is nice and conistant without surging. I thought in the beginning that these cams may be to much but i was really wrong. They are quite docile.

I will try and make a short film with sound today and post it up. I have never done it before though and will need some tips on how to post it.

Thanks,

Matt

Sweet! I cant wait for a video!! I also feel that it could probably get even better especally with the SVO heads! Let me know when you are willing to take those off for some work done on them!

But those SVO heads with some large cams like that should really be making more power IMO, but again ont eh Mustang Dyno those are decent numbers, but it should have even higher numbers than that and be making power up a lot higher near 6800.

Sounds wicked man!! Good luck with the car. How high do you guys twist the motor? Depending on what you guys spin the motor too you may not be getting the full power gain of the cams. Stage 3 probably shine up higher in RPM.

Thanks,
We spun it to 6250 and lucked out that the peak was just a bit over 6000. There may be more power in it with additional tuning but i am pretty happy with the results especially the drivability part. I wouldnt mind jumping on a dyno when it cools off though. I think i could surpase 300 with cool air considering it was 93 dgrees out when the final pull was made.

Ya'll have to jump on board now!
