Crown Vic PI intake worth using?

Nabbed a 2001 Crown Vic cop car motor for the PI heads. The intake manifold is all plastic, including the crossover, and does not look like the Ford Racing PI manifold I have on the shelf on top (different mounting bracket for the alternator, for instance) but it is deep like a PI. Is it worth keeping/selling for a low buck PI swap? Is the coolant tube compatible with my Ford Racing intake?

Thanks!

Easiest way to tell is runner placement.

#1 cylinder runner will be #2 in line from front to back. #1runner will be cylinder #5

That is definitely a Ford pi intake. To bad the crossover is plastic. They are notorious for cracking on the crossover directly behind the alternator or you could say in the very front of the intake.

Thanks for the pics, and as 96blak54 said, it is a pi... that plastic crossover may give you a headache down the road though

Thanks, all. Paid $175 for the engine/tranny combo, sold the trans for $75, so have a whopping $100 in the motor throttle body to pan. I'll keep the coolant tube and PI heads, sell off the short block/intake/wiring harness, and if I'm lucky will have the heads and tube for free and have cash left over.

I am too broke right now to entertain this unfortunately!

I buddy of mine used to say "I'm so poor I can't even pay attention!"

That said, it'll be a while (months? end of summer at least) before I try and clean out the garage.
