Ok, I have an opportunity to pick up a 2002 GT for $3400. It has a rod knock though. I was looking at the prices of a Mustang engine and I don't wanna pay $1200 for a stock engine. I guess i'm just used to the cheap and plentiful 5.0s lol. I have found a 99,000 mile engine out of a 2004 Lincoln Town car, which I assume is the same as a Crown Vic engine, for $650. I know that the intake is different, so I'll just swap the intake out for the one that's already on the Mustang engine. Is this the only issue that I will run into if I do end up doing the swap? Are the oil pans and everything the same?
