Cruise Control surging?

I set it and it feels like it over compensates to speed up and slow down. Almost like if the throttle cable or throttle body is sticking but it's not. I can only tolerate it for a couple of minutes.

Any ideas?

Mine does this too. Then when I hit coast it speeds up...

Mine did that after I put in the 4.10's, I used it so rarely it really didn't matter to me

Mine never did till just recently. I also have gears and they havent been an issue till now.
Normally it's not a prob. since I only drive 30 minutes each way. But on occasion I'll go much farther and CC is nice.

Maybe it's the VSS gear slipping.
