a little FYI...1998 console is the correct black color, but is the upgraded style..

i just swapped one from a 98 gt, fit like a glove, but had to modify the wiring harness because of the second cig lighter plug just below the arm rest, but works and looks fine.

Yeah. But Ill have to buy that console or get lucky finding one... But anyway, how do you modify the wiring harness?

to modify it you basically extend wires to reach the cig lighters.
