I'm curious to know what kind of power people are making on their STOCK 302 LONGBLOCK with bolt-ons. I'm not including forced induction. But all-motor, stock longblock setups with just bolt ons. Post your numbers using educated reasonable estimates/dyno read-outs....

My goal is somewhat conservative. Id like to keep my new longblock I just ordered stock, but still put down 250whp. Im figuring with that power, and some quality suspension\tire mods I shouldn't have a problem cracking )ow 13's which is where I want to be. As I said in other threads, im not trying to be the fastest guy around, but I dont wanna be embarrassed to accept a challenge on the street either.

with E7's you'll never crack 270whp

i've seen e7s and factory intaked 302s make over 300 BUT these were on cars that had extensive amount of porting / milled and were only done to make money in grudge races. it would not be worth the money to do it unless you had a specific purpose

previous owner said my '95 dynoed 226/300. Always thought the tq sounds high, but never really worried about it

must not have all that much power then. My STOCK 95 GT went 13.885 at 101 with just gears and a clutch. I have the timeslips for proof as well.my best friend raced me on the best run, and ran a 14.0 with a BONE STOCK 03 GT

extensive porting would not be a stock long block.

sure it is... stock untouched is a different story.

Hey now, theres nothing wrong with porting your stock shit. Im just trying to get a idea to see where I may be able to get without swapping heads\internals\etc.... After yall's responses im assuming 300-340 is pretty much the thresh-hold which would work for me. :)

a stock 302 with bolt ons you wont see much over 300. Your looking anywhere from 270-305 most of the time. 340 is pushing it
