Not custom but I have a jl stealthbox. Perfect for me as I still need the trunk space and it looks factory.

getting ready to put 3 10" subs in the trunk. Already knee deep in mounting 9"s in my doors.

I should still have pics of my old enclosure. I made it based on the mach460 enclosure to hang from the rear deck and hold 4 - 8" woofers. The new one will be three seperate boxes just so that I can get them in/out easier. One of the main goals for the system is to make it modular so I can pull it out easily and quickly for when I go to the track.

My enclosure isn't custom either but the box is made by MTX and is specifically made for the sn cars and a single 10" sub.I'll get a pic tonight or you can google it.

I've got a single 10" Alpine in a simple square box I made, not really that "custom" I'm just too cheap to buy a box, especially when I can make one... I just threw in a thin, flat piece of board to frame out the rest of the trunk and cover up the stock amps and I use behind that to keep my jumper cables and stuff.

Scott Ive seen your setup and Ive got to say Im impressed with the quality of the install completely as a whole. The 8s under the package tray is a great touch. I thought about a dual 10 enclosure under there since I bought the car and am kind of leaning to that now.

Rainman, I like the simplicity and cleanlines of yours as well.

The rest of you guys, the stealthboxes were a great idea but Im going for something in a different direction. Thanks for the post though :)

for 8s they would suprise you but were still limited to how low they could go which is why I am going with 10s now. A pair of 10s would have fit in that box. The hardest part was just trying to figure out the hanging part but it worked out prettywell in the end.

I also have a convertible so all that space behind the seat and where the top folds down is useless space and I can't put anything under it. That's why I set my encloser up like it is.

Here's a few more setups I've had in the past few months. The 15" kickers didn't last very long with me haha and they were Wayyyy under powered with my alpine 500 mono, 2 weeks and they came out. the 10" JLs stayed the longest, like 7 months or so...

Rainman, I would have done a spare tire well enclosure with those JLs. I did one back in the day with the tri plate JL used to porduce and put 3 10W6s (shows how old I am lol) in and they were covered with a plexi "grill" that made the trunk useable space still.

Scott, the hanging part would be a difficult task given the flimsyness of these rear decks. I think when the time comes I will pull everything out (the mach system) and see what Ive got to go on.

I would have but its a DD and I drive 500 miles+ a week. I need a spare tire to at least get me to the nearest tire shop.
