Well the GT is officially running a cylinder down. Got the flashing CHECK ENGINE LIGHT on the way home from work today. Guess I'm working on it in the morning.

Shaking and shit lol. I can't really explain it. I couldn't figure out if it was doing it more when I laid into it or when I stopped.

Just driving on the interstate. Noticed the ride was rougher than normal. I was in 5th gear and noticed the shifter was moving more than usual so I slowed to about 50 and down shifted to 4th and then saw the check engine light flashing

Make sure all your coils are plugged in, make sure your injectors are all plugged in. My guess is if only one cylinder is down that possibly a bad COP. If you lived closer (I know what am I saying TN is only a few states below! LOL) I'd bring over my Auto Enginuity and we could figure out right away whats wrong with it. BUT you could always take it up to AutoJoke and see what they tell you. Tho I have a feeling they'll say something like your gas cap is loose LOL. But no seriously if everything is plugged in I'd take it up there and have them toss it on there little scanner

Well I pulled off the interstate and reset the computer to see if it would act any different. Drove it to advance and had them scan it. It wouldn't read anything since I reset the computer. I figured it was a coil pack so I already bought one. Just didn't want to fool with it tonight. Too cold.

It's an easy fix for sure, had to replace it on mine, my car acted the same you should be alright! :)

Just hope this isn't the beginning of more fixes! I LOVE my car and for a Ford she's been very reliable

Those engines are reliable. Coil packs going bad on a 4.6 or 5.4 is normal. When was the last time spark plugs were changed? Now would be a good time to get them done. Get the replacement Motorcraft plugs.
