Here's a few shots from today's mischief:

I was curious to see if I could trim the K and see if it would fit in between the sub-frame rails.

As U can see here, the mounts are too wide to fit with the coilover A-arm mounts...
(the mounts will be positioned about 1.25" back from the center of the upper A-arm)

After looking at it a few ways, we can't use this K, BUT we can move the mounting holes on the motor mounts inward to clear frame, They're huge!

This will put the motor mount/busings inside of the Frame and A arm mount, I will make my own brackets...

I also pulled the hedders and wrapped them.
Here's some progress pics if anyone is interested.

NOTE: Getting these off was the easiest i've ever experienced. look at the bolt holes, straight shot on all but one.
Best looking stock hedder i've ever seen, they deserve a nice jacket.

Definitely going to be wrapping up the headers next time around. Should make a fair amount of difference. Gah this is so awesome!

That gauge cluster looks really sweet Dal. I like that alot. What else are you going to do in carbon fiber in the interior?

Thanks man.
Not sure just yet, but I think it looks good! Center console trim and door panels maybe.

So on the mounts we filled in the valley with solid aluminium, welded off, ground down and cut off the ends, like so.

See the big fat motor mount bushing (top) . that thing is fluid filled... :)
