So a week ago, I ordered two new FR500 wheels.
First issue was that I was using a gift card, which apparently couldn't be used online and I had to call in, but then they told me that their system was down so they would call me back in about an hour. The guy was friendly enough and he called me back and placed my order, so I didn't mind.
Today when I got home from work, there was one box on my doorstep, and I opened it up to find one wheel, not two. Looking at the tracking, it seemed they sent them out on different trucks so the first one arrived today and the second one will arrive tomorrow (the date they originally told me). Still didn't mind much because I'm still getting my wheels.
The wheel wasn't wrapped in any plastic like the ones I ordered a few weeks ago, but whatever. The part that got me was the damage on the lip of the wheel and all the scratches, marks, and scruffs on the wheel itself. The wheel looks like its been used already, had a tire on it, and been put on a car.
I called them up and the man told me that there was no record of my order, even after giving him my name, phone number, zip code, and the name of the salesman who I talked to ordering the wheels. He put me on hold for ten minutes or so, and then finally picked up and told me that he found the order, and that I should email him pictures and he would get back to me tomorrow.
Hope this all works out
EDIT/UPDATE: Jarrod called me up this morning and sent me a shipping label to ship the current wheel back and told me they would ship out two new wheels today that he would personally go out and inspect before they go out. Big thanks to Jarrod for getting this sorted out quickly, right after getting back from vacation!
Tl;dr: Ordered wheels from Latemodel Restoration, arrived damaged and appears to have been used and already on a car with a tire.
