Jesus dude...

You say some of us wouldve made that mistake, well, considering I own an expensive car before I even get in it, I look for dents, scratches, etc. let alone I know better than to pull into a parking spot. I back in everywhere, that way everything is visible when leaving. just my personal opinion of course. and fixing that bumper is not going to be cheap either.

probably would be easier to just get a bumper from a junkyard for cheap then have it sprayed. couple hundred bucks all said and done.

every time i get in the car i do a walk around to make sure no a-hole did anything to it while it was parked. I always try to park far away from wherever i'm going. Lessens the chance of another person parking near you cause they don't want to walk. Get into the habit of checking the car everything you get in it. I've been know to check even when i stop for gas...

I do all of those. But like I said, the truck pulled in after I had gotten into the car. It was just a simple mistake that was very easy to make.

You must not be looking very hard. Your car is going to be junk the way you drive it. Also this would not have happened to me. I back my car into all parking spaces. Also I always park in a end spot whenever possable, and way out back. Someday you might learn.

Watch your mouth, don't disrespect Senior members of this website, if you don't like someones opinion, tell them in a respectful way. Talk to other members of this site like they are your mother. I'm not saying this as a joke. I'm being serious. Respect others, especially the ones who came before you.

with all due respect this is why people have been saying you shouldnt have such a nice car for your first car. You start with a beater and work your way up.

no truer words have been spoken. Started with my v6 mustang I can't count how many times I hit or scraped shit with that car because of how terrible the brakes were and my lack of good judgement. as soon as I started modding it, and making it a half decent car all of that stopped. Only time I ever hit anything with it modded was on track when I was bumped another driver since he was clearly slower and would not get outta my way.

Now I own a Roush. I'm so damn nit picky about this car that I call up a dent repair place everytime I find a new dent an have them pull it out. the car is absolutely positively perfect and I intend on keeping it as such, because one of my good friends who has a built to the hilt gt that also is flawless in every aspect, said this. if you don't fix something right away it'll never be fixed as you'll just keep putting it off. I don't want that to happen.

i meant no disrespect to him in any way. sorry if it sounded that way.

why is it that when anyone else on here has a wreck, theres no bashing?

i take every bit of stinky pile off the website for being some so-called spoiled female dog thats too young and inexperienced for a mach 1. well im sorry if ive had the privelage to drive a mach and the rest of you started off with some beater.

heres the facts:
-in my opinion, this is no biggie
-it was an honest mistake that was easy to make. i wasnt being stupid or careless and i barely even bumped the tire with my bumper
-im will NOT be getting a beater, because i cannot afford it with insurance with the job that i have now
-i made this thread to get advice, and ive recieved almost none. isnt that what this site is for a lot is advice?

im sick of being everybody's personal wrag doll.

fvck this website.

You want advice, take it to a body shop get a price quote on a full repair, patch paint match, buff, etc., then search around craigslist or local junkyards for a wreck and get a price on the bumper cover, you might be able to get lucky and find a heck of a deal it does happen, then get a quote on painting it. Go with whatever is cheaper. As far as the flaming goes, im not gonna flame you at all, but I will say that I think you knew it was gonna happen from the start since you said, and I quote," Go ahead and slap me. " If your gonna start the thread off like that and asking for the flaming, and know its coming, then what is the point behind getting all worked up and saying F this and F that, when you knew it would happen. Like I said not in any way trying to be rude, I have given you advice on how to handle this situation, and as far as advice about the flaming, its the INTERNET, is it important enough to get pissed off about, absolutely not.

Connor, you know I have no problem with you and I'm just looking at this from a different POV.

do your parents know you damaged the rear bumper?

and you say it's no big deal now until you realize it's going to cost you an arm and a leg to repair or replace the bumper.

This has nothing to do with you being privileged. This is the fact that you have supposedly done something similar before. Once is an honest mistake. twice is ignorance. Three times is you don't deserve to own that car.

If my kid had done that just once, his ass would be riding a huffy to school or wherever he'd like to go. Eff that noise.

i dunno about the rest of the people on here but i guess some would be jealous but i for one am not impressed cuz u have a mach. nor ever cared that were a "spoiled lil female dog" cuz ive been called the same when i was younger. and it is getting old that when u post something and ppl tell u something that u dont like it always turns to this jealousy bs. but oh well. and i will agree you do get a lot of stinky pile, but most of it is by ppl that been there and yes at 15 a mach is TOO much for ur experience and you should start out on a car with less power or that is slower. the mach is just fast enough to get you into situations you are just not going to be prepared for that is a fact. now for the broken bumper i bet it will be 800 bux just for bumper and paint at a body shop, just so you know. now what advice did you want cause when you ask for advice you rarely want to hear it so that is also another reason u dont get all the responses you WANT to hear because your mind is already made up on what it is. also this is a forum on the internet expect to get stinky pile. someone always says something someone doesnt like. but it seems like you are just too sheltered and dont know how to take peoples opinions (which is what you asked for) that you dont like and automatically think its an attack on you. with all that (hopefully i made sense cuz im really tired right now) i hope you have a good life and the mach last forever. later connor

If you cannot afford a beater DD and insurance, you sure as hell don't deserve to drive daddy's Mach 1 everyday. I've been working two jobs since I was 15.
